As you all know, safety and fun are #1 here at My Heroes Club. In response to the ongoing Covid-19 situation, we will continue to make the necessary adjustments to our programs and community involvements to ensure we are doing everything we can to keep you, your Heroes, and our staff members as safe as possible.
As we begin to get back to our normal routines and head back into the classrooms we would like to assure you that we will continue to maintain the strictest of safety protocols within our programs, curriculums and teaching methods while firmly adhering to all of our sponsor facilities and the CDC's current recommended safety guidelines at all times.
For those who still prefer a little more distance in their learning, we are committed to offering the very best in skills based training, with all the fun, excitement and personal interaction we all need, just a little bit further away.
Props, games, contests, story immersion, live interaction and a variety of engaging and animated techniques between our Heroes and club trainers create an exciting and energetic learning experience where safety and fun are #1!
Curriculums are developed based on our Heroes age, with appropriate attention given to the learning comprehension and physical ability level of the particular the stage of development.
My Heroes Club programs can be custom tailored to address a specific need or seasonal theme.
Safety and fun are #1 at My Heroes Club, and Hero safety is a priority in all program levels. From the mechanics of the activities and props, to the subject matter of each lesson, the appropriateness to the stage of physical and mental development is our focus.
My Heroes Club program is made up of a variety of group and private classes that are presented in person or as an online remote learning environment. There's something for every schedule or comfort level.
My Heroes Club can be scheduled at any time during the school year or during breaks.
Our programs focus on the development of key skill sets and behaviors essential to each age group or developmental stage and are age specific in material, comprehension ability, and presentation style.
Physical activity for children is a key element in building strong bones and muscles, reducing stress and anxiety, minimizing the risk of developing future health conditions, and is an excellent way to channel uncontrollable energy.
Gross motor skills and physical developmental milestones, body coordination, spatial awareness, and athletic prowess are but a few of the physical skills we build with our programs.
How children treat their peers, their families, and their communities can have a profound effect on their future successes, health and over all well being as we are all connected to those around us.
Proper manners and respect, acceptance of other's differences, team work, good sportsmanship, considering the feelings of others, and proper communication of our needs are a portion of the social skill sets our programs help to develop.
At school, how we follow directions and rules, interact with others, and behave in group settings can help or hinder how well we learn. These same behaviors are important at home, church, and as we get older. My Heroes Club positively reinforce these behaviors and manners already being taught at home and school.
One of the greatest concerns we as parents, teachers, and caregivers can have is the safety of our children, especially when we cannot be there to provide it.
Awareness of potential dangers in our physical surroundings, anti-abduction, adult defense techniques, and dealing with bullies are a few of the personal safety skills developed in our programs.
More than ever, a healthy self-image is important for our Heroes. We have programs that foster self-esteem and belief in our abilities, with an aim to protect ourselves from peer pressure and bullying, whether in person or online.
During these changing times, we are flexible and offer a variety of learning options.
